Hilversum, 21 January 2026 – Futureproof Group proudly announces the acquisition of F1 Solutions, a trusted and passionate ICT service provider for SME clients based in Hilversum. Founded by Clemens Blom and Marcel Huijbens, the company has proven itself in recent years as a reliable partner in office automation, network and server management, and telephony services.
A strategic step allowing growth and continuity
“The ICT market is evolving at a rapid pace and demands ever-increasing expertise,” according to founders Clemens Blom and Marcel Huijbens. “By joining Futureproof Group, we ensure continuity for our customers and create new opportunities for our employees. Together, we can further improve and expand our services while maintaining our high level of customer focus.”
Close collaboration with Veldwerk
Within Futureproof Group, F1 Solutions will work closely with Veldwerk, which operates locations in Eemnes, Amsterdam and Heteren.
“Through this collaboration, customers gain access to a broad partner network, and we strengthen our teams with professionals who share the same passion: delivering high-quality ICT solutions,” says Reijer van Wegen, Managing Director of Veldwerk. “I look forward to working with our new colleagues from F1 Solutions.”
To further optimise this collaboration, F1 Solutions will relocate this spring to Veldwerk’s headquarters in Eemnes.
About F1 Solutions
F1 Solutions was founded in 1997. What does the name F1 stand for? Not Formula 1—although we don’t mind the association—but the function key on your keyboard. As in: “Press F1 for Help!”
Founders Marcel Huijbens and Clemens Blom have known each other since they were 16 through basketball. They have proven wrong the idea that you shouldn’t go into business with friends by building a strong and stable IT company together. The drive, ambition and discipline they both developed in top-level sports have been carried forward into F1 Solutions.
